Laura Roberts Interiors is a Los Angeles-based residential interior design studio creating thoughtful, distinctive homes throughout Southern California and beyond. Led by principal designer and founder Laura Roberts, LRI brings a highly individualized design perspective to whole-home renovations and new construction, emphasizing materiality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful details.
Laura’s approach to interior design is rooted in storytelling. She began her career in New York City as a set decorator and production designer, creating character-driven environments for independent films and commercials, an experience that led naturally to residential interior design. After relocating to Los Angeles, Laura worked as a senior interior designer at several renowned interior design and architecture firms, contributing to high-end residential and celebrity projects in Southern California and around the world. Her projects took her to London, Dubai, Palm Beach, Aspen, Scottsdale, Newport Beach, and other destinations, allowing her to work across a wide range of architectural genres and aesthetics. In 2016, she founded Laura Roberts Interiors, bringing her years of experience and distinctive point of view to her own residential design firm.
Laura approaches every project as a collaboration, taking the time to understand how her clients live, what they are drawn to, and how they want their home to feel. Rather than working within a prescribed aesthetic, every project is layered with materials, color, texture, and unexpected details that reflect the individuality of the client. Each LRI project tells the story of the people who live there, expressed through a home that is distinctly their own.
